I do most of my work using 3 pieces of software: Autodesk® Maya®, Adobe® Photoshop®, and the awesome Unity game engine. I most commonly use Autodesk® Maya® for all of my 3D modeling, UV layout, Rigging, and Animation, but I also like to use Autodesk® Mudbox® for high res sculpting and Normal Map creation. For Texturing I primarily use Adobe® Photoshop®, but have a working knowledge of most Adobe® programs. All the game work I do is through the Unity game engine, where I can easily utilize everything I create in Maya® and Photoshop®. I also use Adobe® Illustrator®, Adobe® AfterEffects®, Audacity, and many other programs for other various applications.
there are many artists that I look up to and gain inspiration from, but here are some of the most relevant and prominent ones right now:
Dan LuVisi, who is not only the most talented and Digital Painter I have ever seen, he also has a knack for creating deeply thought out, rich, and beautiful worlds and characters, as seen here: http://www.danluvisiart.com/
David Giraud: One of the most talented 3D Artists, especially in the area of 3D sculpting (zbrush) with a true gift for character design and style. Check out his amazing work here: http://
Good question…
Beats me…
It’s not who I am, but what I do that defines me.
Why are you asking me?
